Electrified

With the latest technology, alternative power sources and performance matching that of traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, Ford hybrids, plug-in hybrids and the all-electric Mustang Mach-E are the future of driving.

Take Your Pick

Ford offers an attractive selection of hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles and the all-electric Mustang Mach-E, with additional vehicles to choose from.

Hybrid Vehicles

Select from the Escape Hybrid, Escape SE Plug-in Hybrid, Explorer Limited Hybrid and the all-new 2021 F-150 PowerBoostTM full hybrid powertrain.

2021 Explorer Limited Hybrid

The Explorer Limited Hybrid has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.* It’s also fully off-road capable. Think of all the fun you’ll have.

All-Electric

The 2021 all-electric Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 has an EPA-estimated range of 305 miles.* Then there’s the Blue OvalTM Charge Network – the largest public charging network in North America.**

Ownership Advantages

Our hybrids and plug-in hybrids deliver reduced-emission performance. The all-electric Mustang Mach-E has zero emissions. Hybrid models take gas, plug-in hybrids use gas and electricity, and Mustang Mach-E is powered by electricity.

Hybrid and Electric Power

Ford hybrids are big on power. The 2021 all-electric Mustang Mach-E, with GT Performance Edition extended-range battery and eAWD, delivers 634 lb.-ft. of torque (860 Nm). The available PowerBoost™ full hybrid engine in the 2021 F-150 churns out 430 hp and 570 lb.-ft. of torque.*

Hybrid and Electric Energy

Hybrid models are powered by a gas engine and electric motor, as are plug-in hybrids (plug-ins provide additional electric-only miles). The all-electric Mustang Mach-E derives all its power from electricity.

Fueling or Charging Up

Hybrids and plug-in hybrids still require gasoline, though maybe not as much as traditional gasoline engines for the same distances. And while you will get extra miles when recharging a plug-in hybrid, recharging is not required. The all-electric Mustang Mach-E requires no gasoline and gets its energy from your own charging station or a public one, such as the Blue OvalTM Charge Network – the largest public charging network in North America.*

The Ownership Experience

Driving a hybrid/plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle might reduce your need for gasoline. It can also be fun. You can "fill up" by recharging the battery and then view real-time vehicle performance while enjoying a spirited ride. The Blue OvalTM Charge Network is the largest public charging network in North America offered by automotive manufacturers.*

Driving an All-Electric Vehicle

The 2021 all-electric Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition is capable of 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds.* That should get your adrenaline going.

Technical Features

All vehicles have standard SmartGauge® with EcoGuide that provides real-time information on how efficiently you’re driving. Hybrid plug-ins and the all-electric Mustang Mach-E have access to the Blue OvalTM Charge Network – the largest public charging network in North America.*

The Benefits

Hybrids and plug-in hybrids can reduce harmful carbon emissions, while the all-electric Mustang Mach-E delivers zero emissions.
