Trailering Strength. Trailering Smarts.

Ford trucks are built to tow large loads. And with the addition of several available features, F-150 and Super Duty® make trailering easier.

Built to Tow

The 2021 F-150 has best-in-class available towing.* The 2021 Super Duty® has best-in-its-class conventional diesel towing capacity** and best-in-its-class available maximum 5th-wheel towing capacity. That’s in addition to best-in-class 45,300 lbs. maximum available GCWR.††

Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist™

Equip your F-150 or Super Duty® with this feature, and backing up your trailer is as simple as turning a knob in the direction you want your trailer to go.*

Available Trailer Reverse Guidance

With high-resolution cameras, you’ll get multiple views and helpful graphics telling you which way to turn the steering wheel while backing up your F-150 or Super Duty.®*

Built to Haul

Every Ford truck features impressive payload capacities and is designed and equipped to help you haul large loads. In addition, our trucks offer features that make it easy to access and work in the bed. That is what Built Ford Tough® means.

Best Available Payload in Their Classes

Ranger – 1,860 lbs.* F-150 – 3,325 lbs.** Super Duty® – 7,850 lbs.

Innovative Available Bed Features

F-150 and Super Duty® offer an available integrated tailgate step, remote release with power locking, BoxLink™ and exterior LED lighting. F-150 features an available Tailgate Work Surface and available power tailgate you can power up/down at the push of a button.

High-Strength, Military-Grade, Aluminum-Alloy Body

F-150 and Super Duty® models feature heat-treated aluminum-alloy bodies. Heat treating is used to harden the aluminum alloy. Additionally, the lighter aluminum alloy allows for a high power-to-weight ratio.

Trucks That Keep on Getting Better

Ford trucks are known for legendary power and performance. This year, we’ve added a new 2021 F-150 hybrid powertrain and something truly innovative – available Pro Power Onboard to provide power when and where you need it.

The 2021 F-150 is the only truck in its class with an available full hybrid powertrain.* It delivers 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft. of torque** and has a max towing capacity of 12,700 lbs.

Available Pro Power Onboard

This class-exclusive feature on F-150 generates power for everything from a slow cooker for tailgating to power tools for the work site.* With the 3.5L PowerBoost™ full hybrid V6 engine, you’ll get up to an available 7.2kW of power.
